I have been a wife and mother for over twenty years. Now I am becoming my husband's lover, too.
We owe it all to my fellow bloggers who gave me the courage to come out to my husband as a spanko.
I do feel like this is a New Beginning for us.

He'll be missed

Hi, we are back home after seeing LJ’s play. I will tell you about that next week. I wanted to tell you that my friend and colleague that I wrote about here passes away Friday night. He was at school teaching and coaching 18 days ago. Then for several days he was not feeling well and tests were done. Nine days ago we learned he had pancreatic cancer and now he is gone. I know so many of us would have like to have told him how important he was to us and how much we had learned from him and how much his friendship meant to us. I imagine he wanted to say that to many people in his life also but time was short and neither he nor his wife could have handled a parade of people coming through. I hope he knew how much we all cared and I believe he did. If there is someone you need to talk to, to tell them how much you care, tell then today. Please don’t wait.

  1. I understand this only too well. I found out my uncle has not been sleeping well, so he is getting weaker and weaker.

    Hugs,

  2. Sorry hon. It's hard to not see a very happy cheerful face each day. It sounds as though you all made it known how much he was liked.
    Sympathy hugs,

  4. He knew, PK he knew. The little bit you told us about this man spoke volumes. I think he had led such a wonderful full life, and he had easily achieved the peace we can all hope for.

I see this peace and acceptance in patients. It is powerful. I hope we experience it some day.

I am sorry you lost a friend. Take time for yourself. You and his family are in my prayers.

    Love you
    Theresa

  5. I am so sorry for your loss. I am sure he knew how much he was loved. But you are right in how important it is to share with people how much you care about them and treasure each and every moment. In friendship, Terpsichore

It certainly happened so quickly and I am sorry to hear of this sad news. It is so important to tell our loved ones how dear they are to us but not just those closest to us but all who touch our lives in some meaningful way.

    Big hugs PK.
