I have to do it.

I imagine many of you are going to be shocked by what I have to say but those very close to me already know. I am leaving Nick for another man. Don’t pitch a fit. Nick has known this was coming, we have discussed many times. Eva knows and even though she might not completely agree she understands that it is something I really need to do. Of all my friends out here I am afraid Paul is going to be the most disappointed in me. I’m sorry Paul!

This weekend Harry Potter and I are headed off to the mountains so we can have some time alone. I did this when the last book came out and this time it is even more important. With all the hype surrounding the book, I need to complete it with in the first few days or someone on TV or the internet is going to try to tell me something that happens or how it ends. After all this time I am going to read it on my own!

So I don’t expect to be on from sometime Saturday until I finish the book, hopefully by Tuesday afternoon. At least that’s how long I have the hotel room for! The way spoilers pop up it will just be too dangerous to get online. After I finish I will be happy to discuss the book on email but I would never post anything that might actually give anything away. To all those who have been looking forward to this for years – happy reading!

My 2 oldest adult daughters will be at the book store at midnight Friday (of course they will be in line hours before that) and the younger of the two will not emerge to the world until she has finished it. Like yourself they have waited a long time for this and intend to know how it ends before they can be told. Good luck and enjoy your time alone with the other man. I hope it is all you are expecting!

Poor Nick, the rest of the family. Are you sure this is what you really want to do? What about us that need your daily dose of your wisdom.

Since this is the last book have fun! You know I'm evil I went on the prowl 2 days ago and found the ending.

*hugs, grins and enjoy*

That sounds delightful, PK. What fun. I am off for vacation for the week and have my pile of books already packed for relaxing reading.

Have a great time.

Debbie :)

Enjoy!!!! The book and the solitude, and if I know Nick, you'll come home to a sparkling clean house and a pile of laundry with your name on it!

Love ya!

PK, while deploring your taste, *G* I wish you joy of him.
I'm faxing you the last twenty pages. Chuckle.
Enjoy it dear girl, no doubt you will wax rhapsodical, but remember Harry doesn't spank.
Warm hugs,

I too am going to spend the weekend reading this book. I ordered it from Amazon and it should be on my door step tomorrow. My younger two sons are at space camp, so I will not have to fight them for the book. My oldest son has told me that he will be reading it after I go to bed. Problem with that is getting it back after the first night.
Have a great weekend.

Hey PK, enjoy the book! I will be reading it at the same time, at home. I am sure you will get it finished before you lose your room! Harry may not spank, but I think we could stretch the point and say that he figuratively has spanked Voldemort a number of times!

You guys enjoy the book. I'll be 48 tomorrow and will spend the day with a "MAN DOES SPANK">.Lots of smiles

I haven't read a single potter book and am thinking maybe it's time I start. I'm seriously considering buying the whole series... I mean if it's that good for you to disappear on me for a few days, I probably should start reading, huh? I'll call and check on Nick while you're away...

Enjoy your time!!

I haven't gotten into the Harry Potter stuff either, but I'm also thinking it's time to start!

Try not to use Harry too much, the rest of us might want a shot at him!

My son will be one of the thousands in line tonight at midnight to get the book, He said I can read it while he's at work. Many husbands are going to be potter widowers this weekend!!LOL Enjoy!!!!

I think if I were younger I would enjoy the line and the midnight madness. But now I would rather let Amazon deliver mine to the door!

You are in a bad way if you are listening to MY wisdom. Eva is the smart twin! And if you truly found the ending I think Mthc should take the boat paddle to you!

Vacations for reading are a true joy!!

Gee if he can clean the house why can't he do the laundry too?

Good writing or not I began this story about 8 or 9 years ago and I want to know how it ends!!

Nick says he expects my book to come by owl! Actually I ordered two. It really cuts down on the wrestling!

I have been looking forward to this for a long time. When we are both done we can discuss to our hearts content!

Mthc! Okay, okay you win! But I still want to read the book. I will be glad to post about your birthday when you get it written however!

They are good enough and you should read them but I didn't mean I couldn't be communicating with you! I will have my phone. Just don't talk to me about the book!

Have Eva send you each book as she finishes it!

This could be good! We can read our books and maybe the fact that the guys will miss us will also work in our favor!

Ah Yes! Another HP Fan! I'm behind as I don't get much time to read. I'm currently uploading book 6 to my iPod! :-) I love his books! Another thing in common! I guess I don't worry about being spoiled with the ending. I don't get to watch news or tv that would say anything about that! :-)

And Eva! You have got to read them! Just plan on doing it in the summer as you won't be able to put it down! Maybe after surgery you should start the first!

Enjoy it, PK!

What in the world do you do all day that you can't put your feet up and read. I just don't understand!

If we get Eva started after surgery she may decide not to go back to school!

I'll do it!
