Orgasm – multiple is the only way to go!

Obey – interesting concept. Like it in theory. Haven't tried it much in real life.

Observe – I love to sit and watch sometimes. Not drawn into a discussion or a situation but to just be a observer.



Oreos - I love these plain, crushed over ice cream or most especially battered and deep fried!!





Occasion – I love special occasions. I like people to get together and have a good time.




Ocean – The beauty, the power, the feel. Who doesn’t love sitting on the beach watching the waves crash?




Old-fashion – Isn’t that what we dream about, an old-fashion marriage. At least there are many aspects that I think I would love. I really prefer to think of marriages as old fashion rather than DD.




Organized - I love to be organized but I'm not all that good at staying that way.





And last but not least -- this is something I wrote over two years ago. On the evening I wrote it it was a true life current event. I thought some of you that hadn't seen it might like it.

How to help your HOH replace a dishwasher
while the pipes under the sink fall apart as he touches them.

Have you ever tried to help install or replace a dishwasher, or some other appliance? I have some tips:

Rule one – Shut up! He does not want your help verbally; he does not want your opinion, your suggestions or anything else from you that requires speech!

Do stay close! This is not the time to sit at the computer and laugh your ass off at someone’s post, relax in front of the tube or chat on the phone to a friend. This is especially true if the phone conversation includes how long it is taking to get the appliance installed (see rule one)

Other helpful hints would include learning the names of basic tools. If he asks for a wrench, he does not want the needle nose pliers. Do not ask “Well can’t you just use that?” (see rule one)

Realize that 99% of his questions are rhetorical and do not require an answer. Questions like “Where did I put the damn screw?” “Why is this piece of shit falling apart?” and “Who needs a fucking dishwasher in the first place?” should not be answered! (see rule one)

Try to keep the flash light shinning in the direction he is looking. If you stare longing back toward the computer the light will veer away from the correct spot. If he grabs it out of you hand, don’t say “Your head got in the way!”(see rule one)

Lastly but not least - all finger gestures must be done out of sight of the HOH and comments like ‘Bite me’ and ‘Kiss my ass’, while perfectly acceptable, must be said in you head, not muttered aloud! (see rule one)

Oh, did I tell you guy that Nick got the dishwasher reinstalled last night?

Graditusday

It's Tuesday again and I have many things I am grateful for. I am determined this time around not to look in the dictionary. So I am just pulling from my head. I'm bound to miss some good ones this way. But here goes.




Mom – I had the best in the world! I enjoyed spending time with her when I was little and when I was grown. I also really, really enjoy being a mom.

Men – now they are the strangest things. Extremely hard to understand. Terrible difficult to train. But darn they sure do make life interesting and exciting. I wouldn’t want to do without mine.

Mthc – my friend, one of my triplets. I am so grateful that I met both her and David. They are very special!

Memories – I have contact with many older people. Many can’t tell you what they had for breakfast or whether or not they saw you yesterday. But many do hold on to their oldest memories. I have wonderful memories in my life already. Sometimes I love to just sit and sift through them.

Mind – mine may go off in strange directions occasionally but I am glad I have what’s left of it.

Money – I have never been money hungry. If money had been my greatest desire I wouldn’t have gone into education. But in light of today’s economy I am grateful for what we have.

Mail – E or snail, I do love my mail.

Marriage – I am a fan of marriage. I know it’s not for everyone but I am so happy in my marriage. We have some high expectations to live up to. Mom and Dad were married for 55 years and Nick’s folks working on 62 years. I hope we can beat them.

Diet update

On the diet front I did pretty well this week. I was down .8 pounds and it was a new low. Cross your fingers that I can maintain that for a week. Anytime I see a new low I don’t really believe it for a week or so.

I went out clothes shopping this weekend. The largest size pants I bought before I started the diet were 24’s. Now I am wearing mostly 16 and since women’s sizes are so very screwed up I can sometimes find a 14 that fits nicely. Saturday while I was shopping I tried on a 14 that was too big. Just for the fun of it I tried on a 12. I could get them buttoned and zipped (I looked like a stuffed sausage, but still)!!! Okay this goes to point out the stupidity of how women’s pants are sized rather that my superb dieting skills but I still nearly bought them just to be able to leave the tag on and show it off!

Gradituesday

Husband – I can’t think of anything I am more grateful for than my husband. My kids rank up there nearly as high but without Nick I wouldn't have them. Some day the kids will grow up and have spouses of their own. But my husband - I really believe him when he promised ‘so long as we both shall live’.

Hands – especially Nick’s hands. I love it when he will reach over and take my hand during church. I love it when I crawl in bed and he runs his hands all over my body and warms my shoulders when they are cold. Then, of course, there’s the spankings. We have wonderful toys but I love him to use his hand when he spanks me. As my pain threshold seems to be low my butt and his hand are about even in what we can give and take.













Hyacinth – my favorite flowers. The smell of hyacinth is the smell of spring itself!




Health – anyone that can say they have their health has everything.





Hamburger – a thick, juicy, medium rare burger with bacon, cheese melting down the sides. On a bun lightly toasted bun with ketchup and mayonnaise, maybe some crispy fries on the side and while I’m at it I’m thinking maybe a strawberry shake.




And please let us not forget the hard on!! Sorry no picture.

Diet Update

On the diet front I stayed exactly the same this week but I have higher hopes for this week since it has already gone done just a little since Friday. I thought I might be up slightly because Mollie and I at out that Thursday night but I held on. My biggest problem each week is going to eat at Nick’s mom’s for Sunday lunch. I love her cooking! And even after lunch is over and we are cleaning up there are little yeast rolls to nibble on, several different desserts to neaten up the edges! Even the cold bacon left over from breakfast is delicious when it’s at her house. It’s just hard to control myself. So cross your fingers for me and let’s see if I can’t get a down ward spiral going again.




And one more thing - stolen right off my twins site are the answers to the sex toy/kitchen gadgets...

Just because a few of you asked..................

This is a grill press. It is grooved and used with a similarly grooved square grill pan. It's awesome for grilling meats on the stove top but even better for making panini sandwiches. My favorite is a bbq chicken sandwich with roasted red peppers and cheese on it.

This lovely number is a BBQ Grill Basket. I've used it for cooking Tilapia. It holds 3 fillets. Perfect. Two for Scott and one for me. I have also used it for grilling veggies. Asparagus is PERFECT in it!


This is a meat tenderizer. Get your minds out of the friggin' gutter. Geeze.
Citrus juicer. I mean is that not obvious?

Garlic press. I gotta tell you when my daughter showed me how this worked I had to get one. You don't have to peel the garlic. Just pop a clove in. Squeeze. Out pops finely diced garlic pieces minus the skin which is left inside the press... completely intact and easily pulled out. How the heck does that happen?


Do you folks NOT know a cookie dough scoop when you see one?
Although this LOOKS like one of those apple thingies it's actually much bigger and used for pineapples. Look close it only has the dividers to do 4 pieces. It removes the tough outer rind or whatever it is, the core, and then leaves you with 4 chunks that are easy to slice and/or chunk.

Here's another little gem which I'm sure sent PK and others into the mind gutter. No, it's not sexual. No, I didn't add it in here to throw you off. It's a "tart shaper" and is used for making those little mini pecan tarts and other similarly shaped cookies. Saves you from having to press them with your fingers. Spray it with Pam and there you go. Works GREAT.


This can be used to grate spices, cheese, whatever....

This little item is for me and the grandbaby. The day is coming when I know she'll appreciate it. I already love it. It's a sealer/crust remover. You press down on a sandwich and ta-da. The crust comes off and you have a neatly sealed pocket sandwich. Great for PB&J.

This will zest your fruit... citrus, that is.


And last but not least this is a crinkle cutter. It's great for veggies, fries, cheese. I've had it for years and years and it still works as good as new.
