We left the Grand Canyon traveling again through some empty lands, prompting Nick to comment, " We've driven over five miles and we haven't passed a Dollar General, a Wal-Mart, a McDonalds or a tattoo parlor." Something we could never say at home.
But we kept going and eventually reached civilization again. So want did we do that Nick had wanted to do for so long? I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.
Yes we did go up, up and away in a beautiful balloon!
And we loved it!
You sure did go up, PK! So brave of you to do that with your hubby for his bucket list! I prefer to keep my feet on the ground at all times if at all possible! What a wonderful experience for you two though! Lovely pictures! Glad you made it back safely! Hugs! Windy

I was scared at the edge of Bryce Canyon cause I could see how easily someone could fall. I didn't feel like I could fall from the basket.

We were in Albuquerque. We also have one close to home we sometimes go to. But this is the only time we've flown.
