What's happening?

I have a questions for those bloggers who are way more savvy with blogger than I am. On the days I put up a post, I general get between 200 to 250 hits  by midnight of that day. I got up and checked it this morning and by nine am I had 241 hits! What's happening? I feel like I might have been mentioned on another blog. I'd certainly like to thank them if this is what's happened. If any of you know if this has happened or what might be happening, please let me know.

    Once upon a time if you were Chrossed the numbers would rise quickly. Haven't seen him come up on my blog roll in a while so I don't know if he's even around. You might want to check.

    Wow! That's a ton. I don't know anything about this either but the interesting thing about your blog is everyday, whether there is a new post or not, it pops up on my blog roll again as though you just posted it. Hmmm. Where is Katie t? She is the bomb at this stuff.

    Hi PK, :) LOL re: Amy’s comment!! I can try to help. First thing that pops into mind is... are you using a new browser? It’s possible that under stats, the box where you tell blogger not to count your own views of your page is unchecked. Blogger would add to the count of views every time you read your own blog. I’d check that out, and be sure that the box is checked.

    Another thought is that someone new is reading your blog, and wants to see all your comments/replies, so keeps returning to your blog to read them. They don’t know to check the “notify me” box when they leave a comment, so they don’t have to keep returning to your post...? I’ll think on it for a while and get in touch with you.

    I’m guessing that you have a lot of people excited about the new Cal & Jenny book! Can’t wait!! Happy Mother’s Day! Many hugs,

      No new browser. And I have myself labeled, also I don't check THAT much! LOL! I do occasionally have someone go back and read lots of back post. It could be something like that.

      If there are a lot of new people by I'm glad they came at a time to see about the new book! Happy Mother's Day to you too.
