The perks of our trip continue

The lovely mug that Katie gave us on our beach trip was not the only gift given that week. There were others. Here are the other ‘gifts’ I received.

This only goes to prove that Katie and Sunny are cruel, sadistic people – I mean giving me cooking implements? Were they making fun of me or were they trying to make me cook. Either option is equally cruel. Or wait… maybe they were actually gifts for Nick! He does cook. Fortunately or unfortunately he also thought they would serve well for other uses.

Now to be honest I was a little worried about how the kitchen implements would feel on the old bottom, but I wasn’t particularly worried about the ‘game’ paddle Sunny found. Paddles of that nature usually make a lot of noise, but aren’t extremely painful. I should have worried.

Nick decided to sample the gifts the day after I got home. I was right about the kitchen helpers, but I was shocked at the game paddle – that sucker is not only loud it hurts! It may need to be retired soon.

Perhaps my being gone triggered something in Nick I’ve been spanked three times since I’ve been home. First just to try out the new gifts, then it was because I forgot to post my weight Friday – geeze, I’m a teacher, I never know what day it is in the summer – I really forgot. And then yesterday I teased him when he said he was headed out to hit a bucket of balls and I said it was bad when the bucket of balls got more attention than his wife. After he came home I got spanked for goading him. Then there was a little more spanking while we were working on supper and some groping after that  (did I mention Mollie is house/dog sitting these next two weeks).  If all this is happening because I left, I’m definitely ready to go again.

There are some other interesting things going on, not sure where everything is leading, but it’s fun. More later if I get everything figured out.

don't they say "distance makes the heart grow fonder"? Glad Nick is inspired and that you are enjoying your gifts :-) Mine likely would just get used in the kitchen... :-) Hugs

Summers are tons of fun, we like to spend time in our pool too.

Oh yeah, they are great gift givers - sorta, unless Nick gets really upset about something.

That little think couldn't possibly hurt. Yours about sent me through the wall! Yep, things are interesting.

We'll see, we only have about 2 weeks until Mollie comes home. But I'll take it.

He did mention something about that. He said he was sure I'd done plenty to go on my list and he'd get a head start.

At 9:32 PM, Blogger PK said...

I'd sure like to think that. Mollie will be home soon, but we'll see.

Wow...those gifts have sure inspired Nick haven't they. If this behavior is due to you having been away for a bit, feel free to come visit the Midwest...will find some more implements for Nick to try out. *snicker* Of course, if Minelle is correct, then you definitely deserve what you are receiving. ;)

Hugs and blessings...Cat

Who me? I'm the perfect one! But yes, I am going to have to find places to visit.

What is it with kitchen implements? Sam got a new BBQ for Father's Day and he is seriously looking at me with the matching tool set in his hands.
I think you need to be careful what you wish for, PK. Things can move along very quickly with no kids in the house.
You need to spill on what gifts you brought. We should have all the facts if you are asking folks to take sides. lol
Glad you all had such a good time. The friends here are special people.

Over the years we've both learned to seen anything that can be held and has a flat side as a spanking implement. Sunny has what I gave her pictured over at Aimless Rambling if you want to take a look.

Those gifts look to belong to the "terrifying" variety when used for the purpose for which they are not intended. LOL!

It seems to me that Nick is really into his stride. Good grief, you better be careful girl! Either that, or place cushions in carefully considered positions all around your house! LOL!

Well not completely terrifying - but very stingy! Something has come over Nick - it may be short lived or on going. That remains to be seen. Should it last I will be buying cushions.

Whoa PK!!! :) There ts is- evidence that a few nights away with us. as well as some fine gifts to enhance the ease of cooking, or perhaps dishing out a spanking, is just what you need!!! GO Nick!!!

I don't look at those as cruel gifts my friend. LOLOL!!!! All had the beach theme going. Clearly they were for enjoying our time at the ocean. Look at the beach theme on that spatula type thing that I gave you. Perfect for stirring up some snacks or even drinks? Whenever you look at it you can think about the fun that we had. And Sunny- well she brought games to the table. What is a beach trip without a game of checkers, anyway??? LOL! As for the other sweet gift from Sunny- well, that was in case we decided to make a salad or something. Isn't that right, Sunny???? HA!

I will be reporting on my use of both of your gifts to me, in the near future. The thing is, other than a couple of fun little pats with the things, they have not been used much. I had my knee surgery the very next day after I got home. So... While there has been some spanky business, there has not been SPANKY business. Life is getting back to normal around here. I think... In the meantime, I will take your word for it all. Sunny's too! And hide the things??? Seriously thank you both for those very fun... items! <3

Buying some cushions sounds like a great idea for you, PK ;). Many hugs,

<3 Katie

Whether used in the kitchen or the bedroom, I'm really am enjoying my new toys. Even more fun when I think of you girls and how much fun we had. Even with out hot firemen or jail cells or even naked men in our view it was still wonderful. And we all get to look forward to doing it again sometime.
