We're off!

I’m all packed and ready to crawl in the car in the morning. Mollie went skiing all day today (Monday) and she is staying up late so I imagine she will sleep most of the way tomorrow. Who am I kidding; I will probably sleep most of the way tomorrow! I love to sleep in the car, except for when I am answering Eva’s text asking me if we are there yet.

I love being able to have such good friends that I can take the whole family for a visit. I mean I know we met and began our friendship because we share the fact that we are spankos. But now that is just one of the thousands of reasons our friendship continues.

I am leaving one of my loved ones at home. I mean besides LJ, the cats, the dog and the chinchilla. I am leaving my computer behind. It makes me sad but this loved one is not well. I can see her age and I foresee the necessity of a replacement in the not too distant future. I got this laptop with in weeks of discovering blogs. She had a big, big hand in changing our lives for the better and I am grateful. Eva has a computer I can use and Mollie is taking hers. So I won’t have to worry about severe withdrawal. I fear being without a computer for a significant length of time (hours) if this one does die suddenly.

So I won’t be posting this week but next week I will be able to give you my version of this snowy, winter wonderland we hear so much about. We’ll see! But I do have Fantasy Friday all ready to go. Don’t forget to come by and check it out!!
