I have been a wife and mother for over twenty years. Now I am becoming my husband's lover, too.
We owe it all to my fellow bloggers who gave me the courage to come out to my husband as a spanko.
I do feel like this is a New Beginning for us.

Weekends and Birthdays

Eva has already told you that the weekend was great. There were some real changes from the first time. Not with us, I loved Eva from the moment I saw her (even before that really) it was the fact that she was lighter - and I do not mean just the weight. C.C mentioned it in an email Eva’s whole outlook was lighter. Walking distances, climbing mountains and excessive picture taking were thing we did not do the first time. We did all those things this time. This visit showed that she is healthier and happier and I loved the changes!!

There was another change and this was in Mollie! Mollie was very leery of Eva and Adam’s first visit. Who could really blame her? Mom goes from checking her email once a week to having the laptop as a permanent appendage. And this ‘women’ coming to visit has captured mom’s attention in a big way! On the first visit if Mollie was in the room she was either on my lap or sitting beside me and leaning on me. If she had been a dog she would have peed on me to claim her territory! It was very obvious to the adults but not to Mollie. This time was much different! For one thing she and Eva spent the first hour they were here texting each other. When I text her to say Eva had come to visit me not her she text back “jealous?” So Mollie had fully accepted them and not once this time did she sit on my lap. It was fun watching them together.

Mollie also loved the pup! Don’t let Eva fool you he was an angel while they were here. My dog, older, much bigger really enjoyed having a playmate. Of course once our dog, a little tired of playing, picked up his paw and swatted the pup on the butt! Don’t know who he has been watching!

One more thing – hold your breath! Mollie turns 15 today! There is a ton I could say about that but there is only thing Mollie is thinking of, today she can get her learners permit (provided she passed the test). I am guessing she can and I will let you know or you might hear my sobs. But here I go on another life adventure! Please pray for me!

As for everyone settling in ad getting used to Eva, well, what's not to love? You and your twin are truly a match made in heaven and it is that much more cool that the rest of the family (both families) thinks so, too!

Happy birthday to your eldest today, too, Mthc and David!

    Love all around,

  10. David,
Mollie has great tastes! She did get her permit!! Go Mollie. As for her getting a car next year -- she will not be doing any of the picking!!

    Dove,
    Yes she sure is.

    Paul,
Yes you guys are the best! And anyone that meets Eva is instantly won over!

    Tig,
Yes we need all the prayers we can get.

I think it is great that both families get along so well. It might not matter if we had just stayed on the computer but for real life it is very important!!

    Todd and Suzy,
Thanks! I love it when Mollie makes new friends.

    Mthc,
And happy birthday to your son too!

    Carye,
Mollie drove me home from school today and I did survive! Yep Eva and I are getting healthier. But I am going to have to get my butt in gear or she will pass me before I am ready! LOL

    Twin,
In June you thought 1 was excessive! But now we are both looking better!!!

  11. You should move to California she can't get her permit until 15 1/2.

But that would only buy you another 6 months, so you might as well suck it up now, like the rest of us.

(Would you like to borrow my goggles and Barry Manilow CD? It didn't work for me, but it's worth a try!)

    HUGS!

  14. Grace,
Does the Wild Child drive much? My plan, if I can stand it, is for her to drive everytime she is in the car so she gets lots of experience!

    Maggie,
Too bad Eva and I don't post pictures of ourselves because these really were good!
