Welcome to Saturday Spankings! In this snippet from Suspicions on the River, Tom has Cassie sufficiently trapped. But it this treatment going to cause her to blow her top or listen to her husband?
All three girls howled with laughter as Allie added, “Tom is the smartest man in the world! He does know how to make you behave.”
“I wasn’t so impressed,” Cassie told them. “I was thinking, Oh no, he is not doing this to me! I marched to the phone to call housekeeping only to stare at it stupidly. The receiver was in my hand but the cord connecting it to the phone was gone. Truly that sneaky, brilliant devil had thought of everything. There was no possible way for me to leave the room. I went into the small living room. There was a room service cart – the normal tablecloth was missing and it was sitting there with several covered trays. I was still simply dumbfounded. Lifting one covered dish, I found delicious looking pastries and another note from Tom. If I remember correctly, it said something like,
‘As you sit today, planning my demise, I’ll be thinking of my lovely, totally nude wife waiting for my return. Our morning was amazing and I hope we will end our day the same way. You have had to care for yourself for so long. I know it’s hard for you to let go, but I’ll keep you safe and loved if you’ll just relax and let me. I’ve told Sue you wanted the day to yourself. She doesn’t believe me and will surely come looking for your body at some point. I’m hoping you'll go along with what I’ve told her.
Tom’
“Now back then I had a temper you wouldn’t believe. But the longer I’d been married to Tom the shorter the length of time I could hold on to it. I was mad, how dare he leave me like that. But the longer I thought about it the more ridiculous the situation seemed. I had to laugh. Score one for Tom, his devious mind had won this battle. The winner of the war was still undecided – actually, it still is, but that battle was his.
Cassie looked off into space for a moment. “You know, it was actually an interesting day. Back then hotels in Vegas didn’t have TVs in each room. They wanted you in the casino gambling not in your room watching TV. I didn’t even have a book to entertain me. I was alone with my thoughts. In the end I realized what Tom was asking wasn’t a big deal. In the past I had been accosted when alone in hotels. Mashers we used to call them. What was wrong with letting Tom escort me where I wanted to go if it mattered so much to him? I was through being mad, at least for the time being, and I spent most of the day waiting eagerly for Tom’s return.
“He got back just before four. He came in with an armload of clean sheets and fresh towels. I was standing at the bedroom door just watching him. He sat everything on the coffee table and turned to watch me for a moment. Finally, he asked, ‘Do I have the lady or the tiger?’
“I didn’t say a word to him. I walked over and grabbed a sheet and turned back to the bedroom. I stopped at the door gave him a meaningful look before unfurling the sheet onto the bed.” Cassie smiled with a far-off look in her eyes. “Tom told me later that it was the best possible answer to his lady or the tiger question. That day he got both.”
As Cassie finished, the girl’s sat back and smiled with satisfaction. “You two do have a flair, you know,” Jenny finally said.
“Tom’s the one with the flair,” Cassie told them. “I’m just along for the ride. But I do love it.”
Suspicions on the River,
Book Three
(a Cassie’s family story)
Cal and Jenny have a nearly idyllic marriage. There are rare trips across his lap for minor problems, but most of those trips are just for fun. Could that be changing? Pat, Cal’s former lover, has moved back to town and she wouldn’t mind giving it another try with Cal. She feels he can’t be serious about this little twit that he married so quickly. Pat feels that once Cal realizes she offers him a better option, he’ll choose her. But soon mysterious things begin happening to Pat. Is someone trying to run her out of town? Could that someone be Jenny?
Cassie and the whole river family try to keep Jenny occupied and out of trouble, but suspicions just go from bad to worse. Both Jenny and Pat want Cal and they’re willing to fight for him. How dirty will this fight get?
These ten books introduce Cassie. She is my friend and has been since she wandered into my imagination fifty-four years ago. She is married to Tom, the man who loves her in a way that makes my heart nearly burst with happiness for the two of them. He loves her, guides her, protects her and when necessary, spanks the fool out of her. I’ve been told that their adventures are exciting, funny and realistic. Their love-life is passionate and fulfilling – but you’ll hear no graphic details, Cassie is a lady and giving too much detail would not be proper.
Cal’s Law series
Cal and Jenny are one of my younger couple. The spanking in their relationship began mere minutes after they met, and Cal hasn’t let up much since. There relationship has it’s struggles, but these two are meant to be together. They live in the same town as Cassie and Tom and there is a lot of interactions among the character of both series. Jenny is not as reluctant as Cassie to openly discuss her sex life, so you’ll find a little more spice in this series.
On the River series
In this, my latest series, everyone is around – all the characters I’ve grown to love over the years are living on the area of the river that they call The Landing. Their lives, their adventures, even their spankings sometimes intertwine. By this time in the series, I’m just typing as my characters tell me what’s happening. And I love it!
I’ll close today with a review on the latest book. This is one of the finest reviews I’ve ever had.
Starting with the first Cassie book until now, I have never been disappointed or failed to wait expectantly for the next one.
