Welcome to Saturday Spankings. My apologies to Mistress Blake, I haven’t been sticking to the spanking topic as I’m supposed to. Most Saturdays I’m just giving snippets of the book hoping to entice some readers. Back on topic today in a snippet from On the River. The ladies of The Landing are getting ready for Christmas and Lane tells of the Christmas before she and Jake let everyone know that they were dating. They both agreed to keep it a secret, but Lane was doing some heavy teasing at her family’s Christmas party.
“Once I got a quick shake of his head, trying to warn me to stop. But I was having too much fun. As I went for one more dish under the island I ran my hand up his leg and grabbed his crotch. He spilled his drink and nearly choked on what he was eating. I popped up quickly and begin slapping him on the back as he coughed. ‘Do you need the Heimlich maneuver?’ I asked him stepping behind him.
“He sputtered out, ‘I’m fine,’ and quickly stepping away. He pulled me over to the sink and whispered fiercely in my ear, ‘You said you wanted to keep us secret too. Now stop before you give us away.’” Lane chucked. “Then he snapped, ‘And that’s not where you put your hands to do the Heimlich!’
“I backed off a little. But I managed to rub up against him another time or two and maybe pinch his butt once or twice. Around eleven he began his good-byes. He hugged my mom and a few other before he came to me. As he hugged me he whispered in my ear, ‘Can you meet me at the tree house in twenty minutes?’
“I was elated! My plan had worked better than I’d hoped. Everyone was leaving so I headed for my bedroom, calling to my folks before turning off my light and heading out the window.
“Jake was waiting, and I hurried up the ladder. We flew together like we’d been apart for months. When we broke for air, we quickly took our coats off. I eagerly turned back for more of the same, but instead Jake pulled me over his lap as he sat back on one of the bean bag chairs.
“He spanked the hell out of me that night! We were into fun spankings by then, you know the good sexy kind. But he had only spanked me for real once before.
“He began telling me off, ‘You were the first to say you wanted to keep our relationship a secret. But you probably gave it away tonight. You could have given us a way to a blind man! In case you didn’t know, hiding a hard-on from your mom and mine was not the way I intended to spend my evening.’
“’Jake! Stop! That hurts! Stop, already,’ I begged. ‘I was just teasing!’
“He said something like, ‘I’m just getting started. Teasing was fine for a while. But I gave you a warning look and you just ramped it up. You best learn to take a warning when I give it or you’re going to have a sore ass a lot of the time.’ Then he told me to take my pants off.
“I was trying to rub the sting away and I sure as hell didn’t want any more spanking on my bare ass, so I just shook my head at him. But he just said it would be worse if he had to do it.
“I didn’t think he was kidding so I took them off. When I was back over his lap he spanked for a little while longer, but then it got on to better things pretty quick.
“I can’t say the tree house was the most comfortable place we’ve ever made love, but it was one of the most interesting.”
Jenny grinned at her sister-in-law as Lane’s story came to an end. “I knew you had a particular fondness for that tree house. I guess it’s not just the view of the river, huh?”
“It’s had its moments for sure. And it may have a few more before we’re finished with it.”
“A tree house, huh,” Cassie pondered. “Now that’s one place I haven’t had the pleasure.”
“Well if you’re planning to give it a try at some point, I think I’d avoid the dead of winter,” Jenny suggested.
“Aww… but it gives such good Christmas Eve memories,” Lane said, dreamily.
Cassie’s Space series
These ten books introduce Cassie. She is my friend and has been since she wandered into my imagination fifty-four years ago. She is married to Tom, the man who loves her in a way that makes my heart nearly burst with happiness for the two of them. He loves her, guides her, protects her and when necessary, spanks the fool out of her. I’ve been told that their adventures are exciting, funny and realistic. Their love-life is passionate and fulfilling – but you’ll hear no graphic details, Cassie is a lady and giving too much detail would not be proper.
Cal’s Law series
Cal and Jenny are one of my younger couple. The spanking in their relationship began mere minutes after they met, and Cal hasn’t let up much since. There relationship has it’s struggles, but these two are meant to be together. They live in the same town as Cassie and Tom and there is a lot of interactions among the character of both series. Jenny is not as reluctant as Cassie to openly discuss her sex life, so you’ll find a little more spice in this series.
On the River series
In this, my latest series, everyone is around – all the characters I’ve grown to love over the years are living on the area of the river that they call The Landing. Their lives, their adventures, even their spankings sometimes intertwine. By this time in the series, I’m just typing as my characters tell me what’s happening. And I love it!
I’ll close today with a review on the latest book. This is one of the finest reviews I’ve ever had.
Starting with the first Cassie book until now, I have never been disappointed or failed to wait expectantly for the next one.

What a fun snippet, I enjoyed reading this. Seems Lane poked the bear a bit too far lol. Had to giggle at Jake's comment about hiding a hard on lol.
