We’re off to New York to see LJ and Collin tomorrow morning. We have tickets for The Cursed Child, which LJ says is the most amazing play he’s ever seen – quite an endorsement from him. We’ll visit a few museums and wander the city. I’ll tell you all about it when we get back next week. It always take me a while to get my head back when I travel without the computer. But I’ll be back. There will be a Fantasy Friday up this week, so please come by.
Meanwhile, I saw this on FB and I thought it could be adapted well for us out here. I threw in a few TTWD questions to liven it up. I hope you’ll try this and throw in a few of your own questions if you like.
How well do you know your significant other?
Name a food he won’t eat?
Mayonnaise, won’t touch it, won’t look at it and will barely let me keep it in the house.
You go out to eat, what would he drink?
Usually a beer. Sometimes a margarita.
What’s one thing you do that just about guarantees you’re getting a spanking?
I’d have to say nothing. Unless I just directly ask, and you all know how much I love doing that (she added sarcastically.)
What is his nickname for you?
He doesn’t have one
What is something he likes to do?
Golf or take pictures
What is his favorite store?
Probably Lowes hardware. But he doesn’t like shopping at all.
When he is on the phone, who is he talking to?
He rarely ever talks on the phone. Maybe setting up a golf time.
What are his favorite shows?
He enjoys Big Brother and Survivor – and strangely enough Naked and Afraid, which he can watch without me, ‘cause I’m not watching it!
Who wouldn't want to watch something
that looks like so much fun?
What’s his favorite implement?
When we do occasionally play he usually bring out the doggin’ bat. Or a small leather paddle shaped like a heart.
What would he never wear?
Wild ‘golf’ pants.
What’s his favorite food?
He like Mexican.
If you could change one thing about your significant other, large or small, what would it be?
I just wanted to know what your answers might be.
What is his favorite sport?
You guessed it – golf. But he’ll sometimes watch football or basketball.
What is something that you do/have that he wishes you didn’t?
We’ll stick with what I do that he wished I didn’t – how much time to you have? Ignore laundry to be put away, ignore health issues – not exercising and over eating the wrong things, spending too much time on the computer, living in my head too much and not inviting him in, never wanting to go anywhere, staying up too late. Yet he never spanks for a single one of these things.
What could he do all day long and not get bored?
Hmm… golf (are you sensing a theme), but he was wide awake and fascinated as we drove through the south west. He seemed to love every minute of it.
How does he like his coffee?
He's definitely not a coffee drinker.
How long have you been together?
Thirty-eight years, married thirty-six.
What is your perfect world for yourself and your relationship ten years from now?
For myself – I’d be a world famous author, my books on the NY Times best seller list, as I’m interviewed and allowed to explain the thoughts and reasoning behind the lifestyle we all love and crave.
For our relationship – I want it to be a true loving DD relationship with all the wonder, excitement and closeness that can bring.

I'd love to see several in blogland do this about their husbands.
DeleteHave a wonderful time away and enjoy the play and your family. New York is an exciting place to spend time.
ReplyDeleteLoved your answers - I relate in a big way to Nicks love of golf, it’s tournament time here each and every weekend. :/
At least it's easy and quiet for me to sleep when he's watching golf.
