As
usual it’s has taken me a couple of days to realize I’m free. But it seems to
be real. Mollie and I had a girl’s day, shopping, got our nails done, and she
helped me get my clothes organized for my trip.
I
talked to one of my fellow travelers today and I feel compelled to squash a rumor
before it gets started. I do not have
a southern accent. Honest, y’all! Where on earth would I have picked up such a
thing. Some may tell you that I do, but, bless their hearts, they’re just wrong.
I’m
starting to get in the writing mood again and I hope to devote most of July to
getting the two book I have ready all polished up and ready to go.
PK,
ReplyDeleteYou have a good heart, but the truth is, I heard the sweetest of drawls. Yes, I did.
Meredith
Well you can tell I'm not from Jersey I guess.
DeleteHi PK, enjoy your freedom. Glad you and Mollie had a wonderful girls day. Glad to hear you are in the writing mood too :)
ReplyDeleteLoL, of course you don't have a southern accent, despite Meredith's comment. I believe you :)
Hugs
Roz
That's the way Roz! Be on my side!
DeletePk glad to hear you have freedom and had a wonderful girls day with Mollie. What are daughters for other than having fun.
ReplyDeleteYeah I believe you on the southern accent! LOL!
Looking forward to seeing your new books, very exciting.
Have a fun summer break.
Hugs Lindy
It will be a while before the books get out, but their coming!
DeleteSnort of disbelief regarding your accent! Aren't lies punishable?
ReplyDeleteYou are just starting your vacation and my week and a half is ending. I'm so happy for you all! I can't wait for the stories!
I'm glad July will find you writing and completing your new books!
Travis would be on my side, he doesn't have an accent either.
DeleteWell I declare, PK Corey doesn't think she has an accent. Bless her heart. ;)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your time off and happy writing!!
Amy
I suppose there could be a tiny one.
DeleteSouthern accent - you. Person must have a tin ear - just like me. lol
ReplyDeleteYep, you both have hearing problems.
DeleteI am always so jealous when I hear of mother and daughter shopping trips. My boys and Sam, too, would rather do just about anything than shop. I do have one sweet DIL, though, and we sometimes get up to mischief.
ReplyDeleteElla Says "Hooey" About PK's Accent
Shopping is why we have Mollie, I told Nick he'd have to shop with me if we didn't have a daughter!
DeleteI am sure you get used to this freedom very, maybe too soon.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy it like I do.
Hug,
appy
True it doesn't take too long.
DeleteI'm glad you had a day with Mollie, sounds perfect.
ReplyDeleteI do believe you on the accent:) Look forward to your new books.
Have fun with the girls.
Love,
Ronnie

Of course I'm right on the accent part! Our day was fun.
DeleteI only can recognise two types of American accents - southern and what everyone else speaks. I wouldn't make a good judge of your accent :)

DF
I am proud to be from the south. I guess there's a little accent.
DeleteSorry sister. I am going to have to call you out on this one. You have an accent. I've heard it with my own ears.
ReplyDeleteI love it though!
Have fun on your trip!
grace
Happy you had a good time with Mollie.
ReplyDeleteHmmm...no Southern accent? I do believe your nose is growin'. ;)
Hugs and blessings...Cat
