I have been a wife and mother for over twenty years. Now I am becoming my husband's lover, too.
We owe it all to my fellow bloggers who gave me the courage to come out to my husband as a spanko.
I do feel like this is a New Beginning for us.

Saturday Spankings - The Meeting

Welcome to Saturday Spankings! In today’s snippet from Secrets on the River, it’s time for Annie to meet her family. I won’t give you the whole chapter, but here are some key scenes.

Keeping herself calm was a full-time job, but hopefully that wouldn’t be the case after the much-anticipated meeting. Finally, the day arrived. Elizabeth was coming to meet Annie face to face. She was bringing her daughter Leah and her granddaughter Sophie. And Annie was a basket case.

On the day of the visit, she couldn’t seem to stop herself from issuing orders at both Andy and Lily in her effort to assure herself that the day would be perfect. She made it until almost ten that morning before Andy requested her presence in the bedroom. Within minutes her bare bottom was cherry red and blazing.

“Do you think you’re going to be able to get hold of yourself or do I need to keep going?” Andy asked.

“Stop, please,” she cried. “I’ll be okay, truly.”

Once again Annie sat on Andy’s lap snubbing and sniffling as a feeling of peace washed over her, though in the back of her mind she could feel a small frisson of anger. Stress relief spankings actually work… damn it!

.

.

.

When the doorbell rang, Annie leaped to her feet so fast Lily feared she’d have a head rush. Andy went to the door and Lily stood by Annie. “Miss Annie, if you feel like you gonna faint, you set yourself down. Hear me?”

Andy took a deep breath and opened the door. Only his lifelong good manners kept him from standing and gaping open-mouthed at the three on the front steps. But he quickly managed to introduce himself and invite their guests into the foyer.

He led them to the living room where he said, “Ladies, I’d like you to meet Annie. And this is our friend, Lily Mason.”

Everyone seemed to freeze. Lily was gawking in wonder. Annie stood stone-still, drinking in the sight of each face. But no one moved. This stillness seemed to go on forever until the young girl, Sophie, spoke up.

“Come on Grandma, can’t you tell which one’s your mother? It’s the white lady. Y’all look just alike! Give her a hug!”

.

.

.

It was only minutes until Cassie, Sue and Willow came in. Much like Andy and Lily had reacted, they were barely in the door before stopping and staring in wonder.

Annie looked at them slightly puzzled before saying, “Girls, I want you to meet Elizabeth and her daughter, Leah. My daughter and granddaughter,” she said as if somewhat dumbfounded by her own words. Cassie and Sue tried to snap out of their immediate surprise and advanced toward the women to complete introductions.

“Aren’t they beautiful?” Annie beamed.

“Certainly, but aren’t you being a little conceited?” Sue asked, laughing.

“What?” Annie looked puzzled.

“Annie, for goodness’ sake, have you three never seen a mirror? You don’t just look alike, you could be the same person made up at three different stages of life. You’re carbon copies of one another!” Sue pointed out.

“And, yes,” Cassie added. “You’re all beautiful!”

.

.

.

Sophie took a chair and continued to pet Willow. “May I ask you a question?” Sophie asked, looking at Annie.

“Of course child, anything you want,” Annie told her.

“What should I call you?”

This hadn’t been discussed among the grown-ups yet and Annie didn’t know what to say. “An… anything,” Annie stammered. “Whatever you’re comfortable with.”

“Well, I was just thinking while I was down looking at the river. I’ve got a grandma and you’re my great-grandmother. Is it all right if I call you Greatmom?”

Annie wasn’t able to speak. After a moment she nodded at Sophie, who grinned back.

“Sophie,” Cassie said quietly, “given enough time I think you’ll realize just how perfect that name is.”

Everyone has secrets, but most don’t have major implications. When Jenny tries to keep her weekend activities from Cal, the repercussions of him finding out land only on her. But some secrets are bigger and more far reaching. You would think that as long as Cassie, Sue and Annie have known each other, surely they could have no real secrets from one another. But you’d be surprised. The full truth behind one secret may never be known, another could change the face of The Landing forever.

From steamy sex to both playful and painful spankings, the people on the river continue to live and love and marvel at all that are learning.
Cassie’s Space series

 Cassie’s Space series

These ten books introduce Cassie. She is my friend and has been since she wandered into my imagination fifty-four years ago. She is married to Tom, the man who loves her in a way that makes my heart nearly burst with happiness for the two of them. He loves her, guides her, protects her and when necessary, spanks the fool out of her. I’ve been told that their adventures are exciting, funny and realistic. Their love-life is passionate and fulfilling – but you’ll hear no graphic details, Cassie is a lady and giving too much detail would not be proper.

Cal’s Law series

Cal and Jenny are one of my younger couple. The spanking in their relationship began mere minutes after they met, and Cal hasn’t let up much since. There relationship has it’s struggles, but these two are meant to be together. They live in the same town as Cassie and Tom and there is a lot of interactions among the character of both series. Jenny is not as reluctant as Cassie to openly discuss her sex life, so you’ll find a little more spice in this series.

On the River series

In this, my latest series, everyone is around – all the characters I’ve grown to love over the years are living on the area of the river that they call The Landing. Their lives, their adventures, even their spankings sometimes intertwine. By this time in the series, I’m just typing as my characters tell me what’s happening. And I love it!

These books do take you through time as it passes, but please don’t think you have to read them in order. Start anywhere. Just grab one and give it a try. If you are a spanking enthusiast, I know you'll enjoy it.

I’ll close today with a review on the latest book. This is one of the finest reviews I’ve ever had.

Starting with the first Cassie book until now, I have never been disappointed or failed to wait expectantly for the next one.

And, of course, the links -

I am in the midst of changing publishers. At the moment only these books can be found on Amazon. I hope to have all the other back early in the new year.

Saturday Spankings - Stress relief

Welcome to Saturday Spankings and Happy Valentine’s Day! I’m continuing on with snippets from Secrets on the River. Annie had just found out that she has a daughter, a granddaughter and a great-granddaughter. They have spoken by phone and made arrangements to meet soon. Annie is, understandably, a bit tense about the whole thing and Andy decides to help.

Annie and Lily were having what Annie thought was a normal conversation when Lily pulled out a chair and sat down, folding her arms across her ample bosom and refusing to say a word.

Annie waited for a few moments before asking, “What’s the matter?”

Still Lily sat silently. When Andy joined them, he looked curiously at the two women. “What’s going on?” he asked.

Lily suddenly became animated and turned to Andy. “You gonna have to do somethin’!” she began forcefully. “I been lookin’ on the computer for what she should be eatin’ with that ulcer. I went to her doctor’s office and got a list of what’s good for her. But she still won’t hardly eat nothin’ and she wants her coffee but the doctor say that ain’t good for her. I fix her that green tea like they say do, but she won’t drink it!

“Then this mornin’ she starts tellin’ me how to clean and when to clean! Then she tellin’ me how to cook and how much to cook. I reckon when her girl comes she bringin’ fifty to a hunnerd people with her if they gonna eat all she’s plannin’ on. Could you tell her I know how to do my job?”

“Lily! What are you talking about? I was just making some suggestions,” Annie defended herself. “What are you fussing so about?”

Lily crossed her arms again and looked away, having had her say.

“Hmm…” Andy pondered. “Come talk with me, honey,” he beckoned Annie.

Annie followed him to the bedroom. “I don’t know what has gotten into her!” she exclaimed. “I made a few suggestions and she’s off the deep end.”

Andy stepped from the closet where he had been rummaging around. When Annie saw him emerge holding the leather paddle she had brought home years ago, mostly as a joke, she stepped back shaken, exclaiming, “Have you gone crazy too?”

“Someone’s off the deep end and it’s neither me nor Lily. We’re going to have a talk right now.”

Annie found herself across Andy’s lap before she could realize he was serious. “I want my wife back, Annie. You’ve been under enormous stress. I realize that, but something needs to snap you back to the calm, lovely woman we all know and love. My friends say this works and I’m going to find out.”

“Andy, no! You can’t do this!” Annie cried.

Andy had spanked Annie several times over the years. Nothing like Tom often dealt with Cassie, but this wasn’t a completely new experience for either of them. Except it was. Andy was deadly serious. He’d heard from Tom and Steve and even Ryan and Cal how much a ‘stress-relieving’ spanking could work. And Annie needed stress relief!

He spanked right through her shocked protests. He continued to spank as her brief anger flared and still kept on until he felt her body relax and her shouts of ‘no!’ and ‘stop!’ turned to sobs.

Andy laid down the paddle and helped Annie up to sit on his lap. He held her tightly as she continued to cry.

“Let it out, honey. Just let it out. Everything’s okay and you’re going to be fine.”

Annie cried on his shoulder. That really hurt! Why did he do that? she asked herself in bewilderment. But the longer she sat, held firmly in Andy’s arms, the better she felt. It was like a bubble swelling inside her. When it burst, she began feeling a calm she hadn’t felt in months.

Andy patiently continued to hold here, gently rubbing her back. “You feeling better?” he asked.

Annie nodded into his neck, a little embarrassed and not quite ready to look him in the eye. “I want you to remember there is nothing the two of us can’t handle. Especially with the help of Lily and the rest of the family. You don’t have to take it all on your shoulders. You mind Lily on what to eat and drink. Get yourself into bed at a decent hour, too. And relax! You can do this, Annie. I’ve never been one to tell you what to do, but that’s what you can expect for a while. Do you understand me?”

“Yes, sir,” she answered quietly, surprising herself with the unexpected “sir.”

“I’m telling you now Annie, you’d better be listening because I’ll spank you again if I need to. And if I do need to, you won’t be wearing anything.”

Saturday Spankings - The final Secret

Welcome to Saturday Spankings. Annie has told Cassie and Sue the story of all she went through at the tender age of fifteen. In today’s snippet from Secrets on the River, Annie realized she can’t run away. She needs her friends and especially her husband. She agrees to come home but there is one more secret to be revealed.

“Did you ever tell your mother or father about the rape?”

“No, I tried to tell my mother one more time, but she said, ‘Augusta, that’s ‘nasty talk.’ I don’t want to hear another word!’ By the time Daddy got home, I was pretending it had never happened. I was so happy to have him back. I could be Annie again. Daddy always called me Annie, but he was the only one. Mother always called me Augusta. I hate that name!”

Cassie was still confused. “But why did you say you murdered someone? You didn’t! Even if the baby died, you didn’t kill it. If… if there were to be charges assuming the baby died, well, I mean with your reputation… a good lawyer can explain you were fifteen and barely in your right mind at the time.”

“But Andy and Lily will still know what I did and they’ll hate me!” Annie began sobbing again.

“They will realize the desperate situation you were in and love you just as much! Won’t you call Andy? Please!” Cassie begged.

“No! I… I can’t tonight. I’m exhausted.”

“Annie, you have no choice. You have to talk to him! He could never hate you no matter what you’ve done. And right now, he’s going out if his mind with worry. Fine, you can wait until tomorrow, but I’m calling Tom. I promised him I’d never run off again and your disappearing act caused me to do just that.”

“Could you just text him—on my spare phone? Just let me have one more night,” Annie pleaded. “I do realize I can’t run away. I can’t survive without Andy and you all. I didn’t last twenty-four hours. I’ll go home with you tomorrow. But I need one more night.”

Reluctantly, Cassie nodded.

“Fine,” Sue growled. “But if you’re thinking about sneaking out on us tonight, I swear I’ll hunt you down and it won’t be pretty!”

“And I’ll help her,” Cassie added.

Annie nodded. “I just want to sleep,” she told them. “With you two here I think I can.”

~~

They all slept until nearly nine the next morning. Cassie got ready quickly and told them, “Call room service and get us some breakfast. Annie, you’re going to eat. I’m going to the lobby and call Tom.”

Cassie wasn’t gone too long. When she came back to them, she seemed completely shaken.

Annie was frightened, “What is it? Is Andy all right?” she asked.

“He’s fine,” Cassie answered automatically, but said no more.

“You look like you’ve seen a ghost,” Sue told her. “What the hell’s going on?”

Cassie took Annie’s hand and gently pulled her to sit beside her on the bed.

“I talked to Tom,” she began, “they got hold of the man who called asking for you. It wasn’t the police, it was a private detective.” She paused, shaking her head in near disbelief.

“Annie, the baby didn’t die.

“You’re a mother. And a grandmother. And a great-grandmother. And they all want to meet you.”
