Saturday Spankings - All about Bob

Welcome to Saturday Spankings. This is a snippet from Secrets on the River. Cal has been out of town and now he’s back. As he gives Jenny a ‘I’m happy to be home spanking’ he asks Jenny about her weekend. His first question is about BOB— Jenny’s ‘batter operated boyfriend.’

“I do have one question for you. Did Bob make an appearance Saturday after we talked?”

“He did not!” Jenny told him indignantly. “After we talked, I went to bed all alone.”

“Good girl,” Cal told her. He popped her naked butt. After a brief pause, he asked, “Wait, what about Sunday night?”

Jenny dropped her eyes and snuggled close to Cal so as not to be looking at him directly. “What do you mean? What about Sunday night?”

“Jenny… Did Bob come out Sunday night?”

“Well, yeah, sorta. I mean it was kind of an accident,” she hedged.

“You mean he just leaped from the drawer, the cord fell into the wall socket and then he attacked you? I hate when that happens,” Cal replied sarcastically.

“I think your Battery-Operated Boyfriend needs to move out. I won’t have him continuously coming on to my wife.”

“It’s not continuously… just when you’re gone for long times,” Jenny gasped between swats.

“You mean only when my back is turned. Did he get you to come?” Cal asked.

“Well, yeah. I mean, it’s Bob, for goodness’ sake. We’ve been together for a long time,” Jenny whined as Cal continued to spank.

Cal couldn’t help grinning as Jenny continued to tease and torment him. With one last hard pop that elicited a loud ‘oww’ from Jenny, he laid her back onto the bed. Standing, he muttered, “Let’s see what all the fuss is about.”

Opening her nightstand drawer, he pulled the vibrator out and plugged him in. “I want to check out his technique,” he said, handing ‘Bob’ to Jenny.

“What d’ya mean?” Jenny asked, confused.

“Show me. Show me what he does for you,” Cal insisted.

“No. I mean… Cal, I can’t… that’s embarrassing,” she insisted, scooting away.

Their lives, their adventures, even their spankings sometimes intertwine. By this time in the series, I’m just typing as my characters tell me what’s happening. And I love it!

Saturday Spankings - Past terrors

Welcome to Saturday Spankings! I’m hoping that if you’ve read any of my Cassie books, that you’ll finish the series with Sunset on the River, just out this week. In most of my three series, you can read them in any order. But Sunset on the River probably shouldn’t be your first Cassie book. So, for today’s snippet I’m sticking with Secrets on the River.

You’ll remember Cassie and Sue were injured in a mugging and they’re healing under Lily’s watchful eye. But there are problems arising that even Lily can’t fix.

Tom woke to a low, frightened-sounding moan. He reached for Cassie, but she wasn’t close. He groped for the lamp. Cassie was near the edge of their large bed. “No, no!” she shouted. Then more quietly, “Hide me! Please, God, no!”

Tom was appalled by the absolute terror in her voice. He reached for her, afraid she would fall out of the bed. “No!” she nearly screamed as he grabbed her around the waist and pulled her back to him.

“No!” she continued to cry loudly. “I’m sorry, I’m sorry. Don’t hurt me!”

“Cassie, Cassie! Wake up,” Tom was repeating. “Wake up, you’re safe. Cassie, open your eyes. It’s Tom. You’re safe, honey. Wake up.”

She was rigid in his arms for a moment, then jerked her head around. “Tom!” The relief in her voice was evident and then she burst into sobs and clung to him. Tom sat up against the headboard and pulled her onto his lap. Her body was covered in sweat and she was shaking with emotion, from fear or relief, Tom couldn’t tell.

“What the hell did you dream last night?” Sue asked. “I woke up to you yelling, ‘No, no.’ I thought someone had broken in.”

Cassie looked up into her friends’ concerned faces. She really didn’t want to talk about the dream. But she’d learned from past nightmares that talking about it rather than bottling it up inside, could dispel some of the horror.

“It was pretty bad,” she admitted. Looking directly at Sue, she said, “I dreamed about… Satan himself.”

Sue looked startled and quickly put her cup down. Allie and Jenny simultaneously asked, “Satan?”

Cassie closed her eyes briefly and they could all see her hands were actually shaking.

“Her first husband,” Sue answered quietly.

Allie gasped and all their eyes widened. “I wish I knew what caused that. It’s not like I ever think of him. But last night was bad. He’d come home and was calling for me. Cassandra… he would do that often. I wanted to hide so badly, but it was always worse when I did. Sometimes I was so scared, I’d hide anyway. I think he liked those times. It just gave him more of a reason…”

Lily came over and hugged Cassie. “That man dead and gone!” she said firmly. “You with Mr. Tom now and you got all of us. You safe! Now you just ‘member that.”

“Do you think the mugging triggered anything?” Jenny asked.

“I guess it could have. But I don’t really think so,” Cassie answered.

“Maybe you saw someone who looked like him. Maybe when you were in the hospital or something,” Allie suggested.

“I guess anything’s possible. I just hope the dream was a one and done thing. I don’t think I could take seeing him again.”

“Maybe it’s your arm,” Sue offered. Cassie looked up at her. “If I remember correctly, he broke that arm, twice.”

Allie had heard about this before, but neither Lily nor Jenny had, and their shock and anger showed on their faces. “Good grief, he was a monster. Was he crazy?” Jenny asked.

“He might have been, honey,” Cassie answered. “All right, that’s enough. I talked about my dream and it’s over. I’m done with the subject.

A New Cassie Book!

It's here! The final Cassie book, Sunset on the River,  is done and it’s live on Amazon. This one took a long time to write. Cassie and I have been together for a long time and the idea of not working on another Cassie book feels very strange to me. If you’ve read any of my books, I really hope you’ll read this one – even if you’ve missed some along the way. This one is special to me.

Saturday Spankings - The next morning

Welcome to Saturday Spankings.  In this snippet from Secrets on the River, we take up the next morning after Jenny rescued the twins from a drunken frat party. She gave them a safe place to sleep it off and the next morning she and Savannah have a serious talk.

When Jenny went in, she saw Savannah sitting on the side of the bed holding her head. “Go to the bathroom and then go sit on the porch. I’ll get you some aspirin,” Jenny told her. She wasn’t anxious for Charlotte to join them just yet. When Savannah made it to one of the rockers, Jenny handed her orange juice and aspirin and then a piece of dry toast.

“You want some coffee?” Jenny asked.

Savannah started to shake her head, but the pain stopped her. “No, I’m good,” she said quietly.

They sat without talking for close to a half hour. By then Savannah looked a hundred percent better, even if she didn’t feel great yet. “I’m sorry about last night. Thank you for coming to get us.”

“I didn’t mind,” Jenny told her. “But it’s not going to be an every-weekend thing. Last night might have gone differently if Cal had been home.”

Savannah closed her eyes. “I know. Jenny, please, please don’t tell him.”

“What does it matter now? You’re living on your own. Cal can’t do anything.”

“We’re not legally old enough to drink,” Savannah pointed out. “He’d probably have the fraternity house closed down. That would make us real popular. And just… well, would you want Cal to know you’d been at a party like that? Just, please don’t tell.”

Jenny understood. She thought back to the party she’d been to at that frat house. The spanking she’d gotten from Cal still ranked as one of the worst she’d ever had. She thought the same lesson could help both the girls, but they were over eighteen and the main rule of adult spanking was that it was consensual. She knew the girls would never consent. Do things you want to do and make your own decisions. Don’t just follow Charlotte and act like her puppet. You saw her shove your mom down. I don’t think that’s you. You’re just used to agreeing with everything she does. Stop it. Be yourself. Okay, I’ll stop preaching now. You go get ‘Her Highness’ up and I’ll take you all back to your car. But think about what I said.”
