Saturday Spankings - A whole nest of them

Welcome to Saturday Spankings! In today’s snippet from Secrets on the River, Cal and Jenny return Ryder home after he told them how the twins were treating their mother. Cal was annoyed that Ryder’s mother hadn’t bother to listen to him when he had tried to tell her about it.

As Ryder climbed into the car, Cal told him, “I appreciate you trying to get help for Mama. You say your mom wouldn’t listen?”

“She wouldn’t even let me tell her. I think she thought I wanted to tell her something Marvin had done, and she won’t hear anything about perfect little Marvin.” Ryder was not thrilled with his little brother and never had been.

“I guess I should have gone to Dad, but I didn’t. I’m sorry.”

“You tried, Ryder, and that’s all you could do.” As they pulled up to Ryder’s house, Cal asked him, “Do you mind running in and asking your dad to come talk to me a minute?”

Jenny waited in the car while the men talked. “Everything all right?” she asked as Cal joined her.

“Yeah, it’s fine. But I think there are going to be two ladies not sitting too well tonight.”

“Do you think Cooper is going to spank Mandy? Seriously?” Jenny didn’t try to suppress her grin. Mandy wasn’t her favorite sister-in-law.

“I know I’m no expert on childrearing, but she needs to start listening to Ryder. And I think Cooper’s planning on explaining that to her.”

They had traveled a few more miles before Jenny turned to him. “Two ladies not sitting well? Cal, I didn’t do a damn thing! Lane slapped Charlotte. I didn’t even get into it, I swear. I just got Lane out of there and we came and told you guys. You are not going to spank me over this!”

Cal chucked. “Simmer down. I wasn’t talking about you.”

Jenny’s eyes were still stormy. “Lane shouldn’t be in trouble, either, and Jake doesn’t even know. She was just defending your mom. Why should she get spanked?”

Cal glanced over at her. “I’m talking about Mom, Jenny. Not Lane.”

“Your mom? Why on earth should she be getting spanked? What did she do?”

“Jenny, she should never have allowed it to get this far. All she had to do was say one word to Dad and the disrespect would have stopped. She knows that. She cut him out, didn’t tell him what was happening. So, it got really out of hand, and she could have been seriously hurt. What if she’d fallen and hit her head instead of her arm? Telling Dad would have stopped the problem. Keep that in mind—don’t keep things from your husband.”

Jenny lapsed into silence. Lane had told her that Caleb would occasionally spank Elly. Hell, the whole family was spank happy. But she still had a hard time getting her mind around it. Before she’d met Cal, she had never heard of adult spanking. Now nearly everyone in her life seemed to practice it. Cal, his dad, and his brothers for sure. Lane’s husband was a spanker too and she had learned early on that Cassie and Sue were both spanked as well as Allie.

This cannot be the reality for the rest of the world, Jenny mused. I know every guy isn’t going to turn out to be a spanker. But, boy, I sure fell into a nest of them!

Everyone has secrets, but most don’t have major implications. When Jenny tries to keep her weekend activities from Cal, the repercussions of him finding out land only on her. But some secrets are bigger and more far reaching. You would think that as long as Cassie, Sue and Annie have known each other, surely they could have no real secrets from one another. But you’d be surprised. The full truth behind one secret may never be known, another could change the face of The Landing forever.

There relationship has it’s struggles, but these two are meant to be together. They live in the same town as Cassie and Tom and there is a lot of interactions among the character of both series. Jenny is not as reluctant as Cassie to openly discuss her sex life, so you’ll find a little more spice in this series.

 

On the River series

 

In this, my latest series, everyone is around – all the characters I’ve grown to love over the years are living on the area of the river that they call The Landing. Their lives, their adventures, even their spankings sometimes intertwine. By this time in the series, I’m just typing as my characters tell me what’s happening. And I love it!

These books do take you through time as it passes, but please don’t think you have to read them in order. Start anywhere. Just grab one and give it a try. If you are a spanking enthusiast, I know you'll enjoy it.
