New Beginnings: Saturday Spankings

Welcome to Saturday Spankings. In today's snippet from Secrets on the River, all the ladies of the landing took the day to go shopping for baby things and other needs. After a big lunch, they split up to go to different stores. Cassie and Sue chose to get ice cream – something that seemed like a safe pursuit. It turned out not to be.

Cassie and Sue strolled down the street licking their cones, in search of a bench in the shade when all hell broke loose.

One moment they were talking and walking and, the next, fighting for their lives. All Cassie registered was a skinny young man running toward them. Startled, they separated to give him room to pass between them. As he did, he yanked at Sue’s purse. She had the strap across her body, and he jerked her violently when it didn’t come loose. Her ice cream tumbled as she instinctively grabbed for the strap.

“Bitch!” the man shouted, as he punched Sue in the face with his fist. The strap snapped and he gave Sue an angry push, sending her stumbling off the curb and nearly into oncoming traffic. She cried out, then fell hard.

“Don’t you touch her!” Cassie screamed and without thought jumped onto the man’s back. Digging her fingernails into his face, she shouted, “Help!”

The man, not much more than a boy, had mistakenly thought snatching a purse from a little old lady would be quick and easy. He soon realized his error and now wished desperately to escape.

“Get off me!” he yelled. He jerked around so violently that Cassie lost her grip and sailed back into a parked car. Her wrist slammed sharply into the side mirror before she slid to the ground.

The man barely glanced at her before he took off running. But he had chosen the wrong women to attack that day. Hearing the commotion on the street, people were coming out of shop doors to see what was happening. Lane pushed open the door of the bookshop with Annie and Allie close behind. She spotted Cassie on the sidewalk at the same moment she saw the man with Sue’s purse in his hand. Without a thought, she ran and tackled him, just as she’d seen her brothers do when they’d played football.

The man, cursing at full volume, tried to kick her away just as Jenny, racing from the Williams Sonoma store, landed on him too. Her fury gave her five-foot two-inch frame strength she didn’t know she had as she shoved his face into the pavement, screaming, “You son-of-a-bitch!”

Sirens wailed as a police car pulled up. The moment they had the hapless thief in cuffs, Jenny and Lane raced back to Cassie and Sue. Allie sat with Cassie, trying to calm her as Lily knelt by Sue. Allie spoke soothingly, instructing Cassie to be still. Annie was dashing between the two.

“Help me up,” Cassie demanded. “I know Sue’s hurt. Go help her!” Cassie was in obvious pain, clutching her left arm to her chest, but her worry for Sue wiped her own pain from her thoughts.

“Lily’s got her,” Jenny told Cassie as she knelt beside her. “Where all do you hurt?” she questioned.

“It’s nothing. Please check on Sue,” Cassie cried.

Annie rushed over. “How is she?” Cassie questioned before Annie could speak. Annie didn’t answer but her frightened eyes told Cassie more than she wanted to know.

Everyone has secrets, but most don’t have major implications. When Jenny tries to keep her weekend activities from Cal, the repercussions of him finding out land only on her. But some secrets are bigger and more far reaching. You would think that as long as Cassie, Sue and Annie have known each other, surely they could have no real secrets from one another. But you’d be surprised. The full truth behind one secret may never be known, another could change the face of The Landing forever.

From steamy sex to both playful and painful spankings, the people on the river continue to live and love and marvel at all that are learning.

Cassie’s Space series

These ten books introduce Cassie. She is my friend and has been since she wandered into my imagination fifty-four years ago. She is married to Tom, the man who loves her in a way that makes my heart nearly burst with happiness for the two of them. He loves her, guides her, protects her and when necessary, spanks the fool out of her. I’ve been told that their adventures are exciting, funny and realistic. Their love-life is passionate and fulfilling – but you’ll hear no graphic details, Cassie is a lady and giving too much detail would not be proper.

Cal’s Law series

Cal and Jenny are one of my younger couple. The spanking in their relationship began mere minutes after they met, and Cal hasn’t let up much since. There relationship has it’s struggles, but these two are meant to be together. They live in the same town as Cassie and Tom and there is a lot of interactions among the character of both series. Jenny is not as reluctant as Cassie to openly discuss her sex life, so you’ll find a little more spice in this series.

On the River series

In this, my latest series, everyone is around – all the characters I’ve grown to love over the years are living on the area of the river that they call The Landing. Their lives, their adventures, even their spankings sometimes intertwine. By this time in the series, I’m just typing as my characters tell me what’s happening. And I love it!

These books do take you through time as it passes, but please don’t think you have to read them in order. Start anywhere. Just grab one and give it a try. If you are a spanking enthusiast, I know you'll enjoy it.
