Two, be nice to my grandchildren if and when they find themselves in the same situation.

PKPKhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02050453501744475319noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31522777.post-67203975810318432182008-10-26T16:47:00.000-04:002008-10-26T16:47:00.000-04:00I don't EVEN want to discuss my driving record at ...I don't EVEN want to discuss my driving record at 16!!!!

Bless her little heart.

Hugs~
TwinAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31522777.post-15183516807866538392008-10-26T15:39:00.000-04:002008-10-26T15:39:00.000-04:00Good parenting is hard, but worth it - you did gre...Good parenting is hard, but worth it - you did great! I, too, remember making a mistake as a beginning driver. 35 years later, I can still vividly remember how terrible I felt for so long. We did the same thing for our kids - a third car to make things easier, but only for them to use when we said so. Funny how much alike we all are isn't it?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31522777.post-10118515086341606682008-10-26T15:19:00.000-04:002008-10-26T15:19:00.000-04:00I got into a fender bender about 6 months after ge...I got into a fender bender about 6 months after getting my license and it was AWFUL. But I remember my mother was so nice about it and didn't yell once. Kudos to you for being so calm. I'm sure Molly will be much more careful in the future.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31522777.post-30396357877166840382008-10-26T08:36:00.000-04:002008-10-26T08:36:00.000-04:00Sounds to me like you and Nick both handled this e...Sounds to me like you and Nick both handled this event really well. These things happen, as you know. I have been in the same situation as Molly myself.

My Saturday went well, thank you, as Kallisto got to try out her cheerleader outfit for the first time! Unfortunately I haven't blogged about the experience yet, but we did have another interesting event take place that will appear on my blog on Monday. I write my posts a day or two in advance, so it takes time for them to show up after they happen sometimes.

I hope you finish your weekend in great style! I'm sure we will.Spankyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16990858265891578635noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31522777.post-43048058236808188102008-10-26T07:57:00.000-04:002008-10-26T07:57:00.000-04:00PK, if Mollie is the bright girl she seems to be, ...PK, if Mollie is the bright girl she seems to be, she will learn from this.
Don't buy Mollie a car, if she wants one of her own let her work for it, she will value it much more.
You both handled that very well, wise parents are a blessing.
Love and warm hugs,
Paul.Paulhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03790580459962602757noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31522777.post-70772189062837028692008-10-26T03:58:00.000-04:002008-10-26T03:58:00.000-04:00PKSpent my Saturday shopping for a wedding dress w...PK
Spent my Saturday shopping for a wedding dress with my daughter. What a wonderful time and one of many special memories I will cherish. I also posted a joke on my blog that backfired after the picture I put at the bottom did not come out. So now some readers who did not see the picture think I am pregnant at my age- GEEZ!!! I should have stayed on sabbatical (actually like you said- I need to keep on writing especially when things are crazy)
Did you buy a porche PK?
Ciao,
I GalAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31522777.post-18203085830508853672008-10-26T03:46:00.000-04:002008-10-26T03:46:00.000-04:00Smart mom and dad to purchase a "family car" which...Smart mom and dad to purchase a "family car" which can be used by Mollie. See, I'm taking notes for three years from now when my gal turns sixteen. And Kudos to you and Nick for being sweet and supportive in a frustrating situation. I had a good Saturday too. I had fun visiting with my sister. My hubby will be home from a business trip tomorrow and I really miss him, especially when some people have to bring up topics like "good lovin". When I was sixteen (many, many years ago!) and had only had my license a couple of months I was backing out of a parking place, misjudged the distance and hit the car next to me. Fortunately the owner & my folks were great about it but I still remember how upset I was.

The good thing & I'm sure this will be true of your daughter, is that I was VERY careful after that! This will probably improve her driving skills - good luck to all of you!pmduohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12110176417722959928noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31522777.post-32095237969729501832008-10-26T02:26:00.000-04:002008-10-26T02:26:00.000-04:00At least it wasn't really bad and I know she is de...At least it wasn't really bad and I know she is devastated.
